Your privacy matters. KidCareTracker is designed with simplicity and privacy in mind. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information We Collect
- Account information: If you create an account, we may collect your email and basic profile data.
- App data you add: Health-related notes, symptoms, medications, vaccinations, growth logs, and other entries you choose to save.
- Usage data: Basic analytics to improve stability and features (e.g., device type, app version, interactions).
How We Use Information
- Provide and improve app features and customer support.
- Maintain security and prevent misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate the app (for example, Google Firebase for authentication and data storage), subject to confidentiality and security obligations, or when required by law.
Health Analytics and Smart Insights
KidCareTracker offers smart insights and health analytics based on the health data you choose to add (such as temperatures, symptoms, and medications). These analyses are generated using our own rule-based and statistical models together with your data stored with our cloud provider (currently Google Firebase). We do not send your personal data to any third-party AI model providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar services.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as you maintain an account or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion as described below.
Your Choices & Rights
- Access & correction: You can view and edit your data in the app.
- Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Communications: You may opt out of non-essential communications.
Children's Privacy
KidCareTracker is intended to be used by parents/guardians to manage information about their children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you reside. We take steps to protect your data in accordance with this policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and adjust the "Last updated" date.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
KidCare Tracker may offer premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We may receive information from Apple related to your purchase (for example, that a subscription is active) solely to enable your access to premium features.
